1.Rani ki vav:-
Rani ki vav is situated in patan,Gujarat on the banks of sarswati river. Basically it's a seven layer stepwell construction.
The well is located at the westernmost end of the property and consists of a shaft 10 m in diameter and 30 m deep.
There is few more historical places in patan to visit.so it is a nice one day picnic place for history lovers.
2.Laxmi Vilas Palace:-
The laxmi vilas palace is situated in Baroda,built by the great sayajirav gayakvad III in 1890 at the cost of GBP 180k.It was the official living place for king sayajirav.It is reputed to have been the largest private dwelling built in the nineteenth century and four times the size of Buckingham Palace,England.
The palace itself a must watch with historic significance and an
architecture's delight. you also get to see peacock dancing around the
palace gardens.
It has a collection of royal ancient weapons which are difficult to find
out now a days. Darbar hall and many other things show art and culture.
The entrance ticket cost is Rs. 200/- per person. You get an
audio-hearing device in your preferred language which explains the
palace. Also if you do not wish to take and audio hearing device, you
can simply join the tour with a guide who will guide you through the
palace and its history. The timings are 10:00 am to 05:00 pm from
Tuesday to Sunday. It remains closed on Monday.
3.Somnath temple:-
Somnath temple is located at veraval port,prabhaspatan, saurashtra gujarat.This is the first(primary) jyotirling of the twelve jyotirlings.Because this deity is supposed to be Swayanbhu (self-born) and is always
awake, lakhs of devotees visited this temple and considered themselves
blessed and to have achieved piety.
The temples 15th memorial and the ancient monument located on the sea
side of Kahiavad near Prabhaspattan. There are many famous mythological
stories attached to them.
The sun temple is the most ancient of all.
There is no presiding deity in it, but the architecture of temple is so
exquisite, that even by seeing the ruins one can imagine.three day tour to somnath combine with diu can be a great family fun.
4.Sidi Saiyad mosque:-
Sidi saiyad mosque is located in ahmedabad near lal darvaja. Gujarati people call it sidi saiyad ni jali. This monument is not built by any king ,but it was built by the slave named sidi saiyad. After that it became famous as sidi saiyad monument. This Mosque is famous for it's latticework windows and these windows are known as jalis. Artistic history lovers must visit this place once in a while.
5.Vijay vilas palace:-
Vijay vilas palace is located in Mandvi,Kutch.It is very famous palace of kutch.This palace is built in 1929 with red standstone.It is a historical place of kutch.This palace was built in time of the great maharaja khengargi III. Environment of That place is very Eco-friendly.People were being very happy after visiting vijay vilas palace.Currently Vijay vilas palace is added in Gujarat tourism.In today's time this palace is used for tourism and shooting for scene of Bollywood film.Shooting of Hum dil de chuke sanam was done at vijay vilas palace.Vijay vilas palace has it's private beach with great facilities.
You must cover this place during your kutch tour.this place is near by bhuj and you can also have great fun of manvi beach here.
6.Palitana:-
Located in Bhavnagar district Gujrat , it is one the most sacred piligrimage for jains. It
is visited by lakhs of disciples both from india & abroad.
It takes approx 4-5 hours to travel up the hill. You need to climb 3700 steps to reach the top. Very clean and neat,the entire hill top is studded with some thousand temples. No food or water on the way up or at the top so carry all you need.There you find very positive atmosphere.The temples are grouped on 4 main terraces and you can see that they have their own protection walls around them.
7.Dhwarka:-
Dhwarka is located at jamnagar,Gujarat on the banks of gomti river.
Dwarka is one of the foremost Chardhams.The Dwarkadhish Temple dedicated to Krishna was originally built around 2,500 years ago, but was destroyed by Mahmud Begada rulers and subsequently rebuilt in the 16th century.
Seldom visited by westerners because of its remote location in the western state of Gujarat, the fascinating and extremely beautiful Jagatmandir temple is bordered on one side by the ocean coast and on the other side by the town of Dwarka. One of India's oldest and most venerated pilgrimage sites, Dwarka's archaeological and historical background is shrouded in mystery.
8.Akshardham temple:-

9.Sabarmati Ashram:-
This historical ashram is located at ahmedabad.The founder of this ashram is the great mahatma gandhi.Anyone can come and visit the Gandhi ashram located alongside the
Sabarmati River.
It is open from 8.30 am to 6.00 pm evryday. Amidst the
mad rush of the city, Sabarmati ashram serves as a great retreat.
Sabarmati Ashram of Ahmedabad has a lot of significance for people of
India, as our great freedom fighter Gandhiji lived here for quite a long
time from 1917 to1930. For people interested in knowing about the
freedom struggle of India, this is just the perfect place. In fact, it is
a storehouse of useful piece of information.A very nice and beautiful place and it shows the living room and many other things of Gandhiji.It has a beautiful museum and a library also.
10.Modhera sun temple:-
Located just 35 kilo meters far from mehsana.It is on the way to famous holy spot bahucharaji.The exclusively carved temple complex and the magnificently sculpted kund are jewels in the art of masonry of the Solanki period apparently which was also known as the Golden Age of Gujarat.The Sun Temple of Modhera is dedicated to Hindu God Surya. The Sun Temple was built by King Bhimdev of Solanki Dynasty in 1026. This temple is known as 11th century sun temple. Solankis were known as suryavanshi , Gurjar and thus they built Sun Temple at the village Modhera. This temple is designed as first ray of the sun fell on the image of sun. Modhera's sun Temple's architecture is similar to the Konark Sun Temple .
